From elegant and stately mansions to modern, environmentally-friendly abodes, the Milwaukee suburbs are chock-full of one-of-a-kind homes for sale.

Each week, in our new feature, Patch will highlight one "Wow House" that caught our attention.

This week, it's a 4,665-square-foot two-story Tudor home with 11 rooms and a three-car garage located at 6936 N. Barnett Lane in Fox Point.

Listed by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Mequon, this home, right on the shores of Lake Michigan, includes five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. The 82-year-old home has amazing architectural details throughout, including leaded glass windows and doors; original wood banisters; old English arches and more.

The asking price is $2,199,000. If you put 20 percent down and take out a 30-year mortgage, your monthly payments would be about $8,100 per month. That does not include property taxes, which were $29,895 last year.

To schedule a showing, contact Margo Winter at (262) 241-4700.

If you're a real estate agent and would like to have one of your home included in our free "Wow House" feature, send an email to milwaukee@patch.com.

A little on the small side, but it might make a nice vacation home when my wife and I aren't living in one of our other 2 vacation homes.

The big difference between this house and the last one is quality construction and mature landscaping.

@Heidi - funny, that was the FIRST thing I thought of - erosion.

Personally, Hoffa is a big fan of the Tudor Revival style, although there isn't quite enough half-timbering on the exterior of this one for Hoffa's exact taste ;-)

Looks very comfy, with great views!

Light-year's better than the last feature home!!!

Great place to put guests if you own the neighboring house.
