Did Clint Eastwood's Speech Make Your Day?

Spot on or embarrassing? Perfect or putrid? You tell us!

The audience cheered as Clint Eastwood took the microphone at the Republican National Convention and spoke for the next 15 to 20 minutes.

But critics have called the speech "rambling," as the actor spoke to an empty chair that was supposed to represent President Barack Obama.

Perhaps taking the tack that other speakers didn't want to, Eastwod was sharp in his criticism of the current administration, calling Vice President Joe Biden 'a grin with a body behind it.'

So if you've had a chance to see his speech, what did you think?

How many ways can one say, "mistake"?
Republican convention went off the rails with this one.

Is this a taste of what Republican good judgment looks like?
What the hell were they thinking?

This was the last night of the Republican convention.
And we are given this?

I am going to try to forget this misstep by this great actor, director.
Right now, I can only managed to feel sorry for him.
And to feel sorry for the poor bozo who talked the convention committee into this stunt.

Obama will be creating exactly two jobs in the next two months or so, Romney's and Ryan's

To Hell with Obama! Good ridence! Now he can crawl back to his hut in South Africa and practice up on a new set of lies and deceptions. It would be nice if he rigged an election for himself in China. They would soon be broke, heavily in debt, starving, half clothed, no job, no place to live while he claimed prosperity was just around the corner. Undoubtedly he can convince the Chinese that he attended their finest University(s), be elected a top class liar and win another Nobel prize at an auction or wherever it is that they pass them out. Helstinky according to his speach writers. Or better yet, that he would participate in a "shootout" at one-half pace. Or perhaps he might become so spellbound while listening to Clint Eastwood he would flash a smile and Eastwood mistake the flashing white dentures as a target. Oh well, we can only hope.
