Whole thing worked just fine for me, Bob.
I wonder how many signatures will trace back to Lena Taylor's address?

Take your time and do it right. No problem not having all the elections on the same day. It's only taxpayer money.

Just blows me away that, without the court order, they wouldn't have bothered looking for duplicates - from what he said.
From top to bottom it seems like such a loosey-goosey process. This HAS to be fixed after this insane recall season is finally over.

How much money will this cost the state? From what I read 10-15 mil.Such crybabies. The rest of us have been paying for health care for the last 15 years and the union(lazies) whine about 12% when most are paying 25-35% of the cost of insurance.I am personally outraged that these people feel entitled to cheaper insurance. That is why Wisconsin needs SCOTT WALKER .

Truly amazes me how we could have Democrat in our parties name and not respect the democratic process

In this state and in our constitution, recalls are the democratic process. So stop being amazed and we'll stop being amused.

As they say, "this is what democracy looks like."
Before those complaining about the recall process continue, pause to remember the months and years leading up to the American Revolution. There were people back then--King's Men--who were against breaking away from tyranny and King George. They deplored the patriots for trying to create a new country, just as you are resisting the recall initiative.
This effort is about protecting our state--and country--from the seditious efforts of the billionaires to destroy our American dreams for their own profit. Scott Walker is following their agenda, point by point, just as their new governors are doing in other states. Wisconsin's never been a follower sheep state, and a lot of us don't want us to turn into one. Recall Scott Walker.

So having a democratic candidate, hand picked by the Unions, and following their agenda point by point is going to get us away from a 'sheep state'?

Yeah, there are NO Democratic billionaires.....

In dunno Juliann, then right is constantly whining about George Soros.
Is there some way to et you off of your union fetish dung? If you'd take the time, you'd realize that there are a whole bunch of candidates, and yes, there are a whole bunch of unions.
But I understand. What you are exhibiting is the quality know as projection. Just because the right is controlled by monolithic organizations such as ALEC, you think the other side is the same.
It's not. Why not do some open-minded research rather than parroting what you are told?

It sounded to me like the unions are all looking to get behind a single candidate. Presumably one that will do their bidding...

I'm going to do my civic duty and have signed up to help enter names of petitioners for the database. You can help too; sign up at verifytherecall.com--you can also sign up to see if your name appears on the petitions under "No Sign Registration"

@Juliann -- "you can also sign up to see if your name appears on the petitions under "No Sign Registration""
What is the verification process for determining whether I was the one who actually signed up and logged in to put my name on the 'No Sign' list? My name and address are a matter of public record, now that I signed the recall petition. The GOP seems to think I'm a Republican from my Waukesha County address, based on the number of robo-calls I get during campaigns.

If someone's name is detected as part of the 'no sign registration' signup, the name isn't automatically removed. The site alerts the person that signed up and it is up to that person to challenge that signature.
Presumably, it would involve providing an affidavit or something along those lines stating that it is not the person's signature and/or stating that the person did not sign the petition.

@CowDung and Juliann -- Just as a matter of curiosity, how many 'No-signers' have you had to notify so far?
Bob McBride
12:46 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2012
I don't think they have recall signature forms scanned and released in PDF form yet, Randy. At that point they'll then have to converted to a database. Until that's done, no way of checking to see if any of those who signed up are in there.

Congratulations to all of you in the north shore who came out to commit a flagrant act of democracy. Your efforts to get active and round up 22,000 signatures showed that this is the way to eventually break Citizen's United, based on your energy and your money.
You dispelled the notion that people aren't interested in politics or that we can be rolled by vulture corporate interests. You proved you can help bring back Wisconsin values.
