Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to making an old-fashioned cocktail.

You have your choice of whiskey or brandy, sweet or sour – and in some places the option of green olives instead of cherries. But on the specialty cocktail menu at Juniper 61, you have your choice of four flavored bitter combinations:

  • Carmelized orange, coriander, cardamom
  • Wild cherry bark, Madagascar vanilla, cocoa
  • Grapefruit, hibiscus, island spices
  • Allspice, ginger, black pepper

Watch as Pattie Ford, the architect behind the restaurant's unique drink menu, shares some tips from the trade in crafting her unique spin on Wisconsin's favorite cocktail.
