More Wauwatosa District Town Hall Meeting Dates Set

Sessions in aldermanic districts 5, 6 and 3, in that order, are scheduled beginning next week, on topics including property revaluations, sewer rate changes and economic development projects.

The Mayor and aldermen of Wauwatosa will continue to host a series of District Town Hall Meetings.

These are informal public meetings to bring together citizens and officials to talk about what’s happening in the city in 2013, such as: property revaluations, sewer rate changes and economic development projects.

Also, topics relevant to each district will be discussed, such as the Meinecke Sewer Construction Project in District 6.

A District Town Hall Meeting will be held in each of the eight aldermanic districts through June. Here are the details for the meetings scheduled in March and April:

District 5, March 20, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Roosevelt Elementary School, 2535 N. 73rd St., with Alds. Bobby Pantuso and Joel Tilleson attending.

District 6, April 10, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at McKinley Elementary School, 2435 N. 89th St., with Alds. Brian Ewerdt and Jeff Roznowski attending.

District 3, April 24, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Underwood Elementary School, 11132 W. Potter Rd., with Alds. Tim Hanson and Greg Walz-Chojnacki attending.

Mayor Kathy Ehley will attend all meetings.

The first District Town Hall was held in District 2 in January at the Wauwatosa Woman's Club

The four remaining District Town Hall Meetings will be scheduled for May and June, and residents will receive notice as soon as they have been confirmed.
