Pedicurist Pinched for Suspected Tosa Tootsie Attack

It was a quiet Saturday evening at a Mayfair salon, until ... all heel broke loose, when, in a pedi gone horribly wrong, a man was hauled in on an arch accusation of assault on the extremities.

A pedicure should be a luxuriant, relaxing experience, and you should leave with a tingle in your toes.

But a Waukesha woman complained of a bad attitude and way too much tingle from a pedicurist at a Mayfair Mall salon, and witnesses agreed that something had gotten out of hand — or foot.

At 5:49 p.m. Saturday, a 38-year-old New Berlin man was arrested for disorderly conduct after the woman complained that he had intentionally injured her foot while giving her a pedicure at Nail Arts salon in Mayfair Mall.

According to a police report, the woman said she had paid in advance for her pedicure and, during the proceeding, did not like the way the male pedicurist was performing.

She said she asked him if he knew what he was doing and he took offense, muttering something at her in a foreign language.

Thereupon, she told him to stop and find a female pedicurist to finish the job, she told police. Whereupon, she complained, the man twisted her foot and slammed it several times against the side of the soaking tub, causing her, she said, considerable pain.

The pedicurist denied having done so and pointed out to police that the salon had immediately refunded the woman's payment.

But the man was arrested after two other customers told police that, while they didn't actually witness whatever was afoot in the soaking tub, they heard a lot of yelling and confirmed that there was definitely a disturbance of the pedicure peace.

One witness two stations away told officers she heard the victim cry out, “You are not going to push my feet and twist my toe!”

This is all lies. I have been a long time customer here. This woman apparently told them she is a police officer. I think She used her position to threaten and that's wrong. The man who worked on her feet is a gentleman and did not abuse her in any way. This woman lied.
