Wauwatosa families and neighbors gathered at Hart Park starting at 4 p.m. on Tuesday to enjoy National Night Out, an annual event devoted to public safety and fun.
Police and fire officials showed off their squad cars and resuce vehicles all night, and a few lucky kids even got to spray a real fire hose. With food, ice cream, games and dance performances by area kids, the event went off without a hitch.
