Police Report: Burglars Hit Six Business, One Home
Police say same suspect likely involved in five West North Avenue targets.
Burglars targeted five businesses on West North Avenue late Tuesday or early Wednesday morning, gaining entry to three, according to Wauwatosa police.
The suspects rummaged for cash and left the businesses' goods untouched, police said. In two of the break-ins, the suspects pushed in a window air-conditioning unit at one business and unhinged a door that opened from that shop into an adjacent business, police said.
Similar pry marks were found on doors of three other businesses, with the suspects gaining entry into only one, police said.
The targeted businesses include Boutique B'Lou, 8901 W. North Ave., Bentley's One of a Kind Store, 8816 W. North Ave., Steinkellner Decorating Center, 8834 W. North Ave., Jenerations Family Hair Studio, 8415 W. North Ave., and Ace Drapery Inc., 8813 W. North Ave.
