Most surprising was the amount of clothing involved that also doubles as an alcoholic beverage container — and we're not just talking about those helmets with the beer holsters. We're talking suspenders, belts and handcuffs that can carry your beer as you participate in a daytime pub crawl or watch the televised parade in your living room.

Trappings for a rampant drinking culture, these items are an environmental nightmare. Made from fossil fuel, brought here from China, ending up in our landfills. For St. Patrick's sake, make yourself a paper hat out of a brown shopping bag and give your money to the Wauwatosa Food Pantry. And don't drink and drive!
