Two Charged in Beating of Mall Kiosk Employee

One defendant threatened the victim, then attacked him, and the other joined in, complaint says.

Two Milwaukee teens are facing charges that they assaulted a kiosk employee at Mayfair Mall.

According to the criminal complaint, Robert J. Gordon Jr., 18, and Deontrey D. Ward, 17, assaulted the employee of the kiosk on Oct. 10 while he was working at the stand.

Gordon picked a up a bowl from another nearby kiosk and acted as if he was going to toss it at the victim, but then put it down, ran toward him and began to beat him.

Ward then jumped in and also beat the victim until police arrived and broke up the fight.

The criminal complaint did not say whether the victim was known to his assailants or what, if anything, provoked the attack.

Gordon and Ward both face one count of disorderly conduct, which carries a maximum sentence of 90 days in prison if convicted.

Ho hum, another group beating in Milwaukee County. Do we dare ask what race the victim is in this month-old story?
