Information provided to me by Senator Harsdorf showed that there were approximately 20 cases of voter fruad being investigated. None of them had to do with "bus loads of Illlinois voters."

The cases dealt mostly with felons who voted and a couple of people who voted early and then voted at the polls.

I police the comments on my posts. If there's tricks being played in the comments of other posts, I suggest you "flag as inappropriate" or email the writer.

We currently have the ability to do this for the comments, but not for the blog articles themselves. I think that this might be a useful feature to have.

Greg, you listed the things Barrett said and then you say he should "put-up or shut-up." Apparently your hearing old works when its what you want to hear.

The election isn't about Barrett's policies v. Walker's policies. The election is about Barrett not being Walker. That is the platforrm.

Castrating collective bargaining for public unions wasn't part of Walker's 2010 campaign platform. Obviously, it was part of his agenda.

Jim Bo, No state law, just pointing out that he does not have any plans for our state and he wants to be Governor. Obama started the "Not" trend and I see it as cheap politics. It is called "Running for" a position for a reason, hence the need for a platform.
Walkers 2010 platform included balancing the budget and he made clear that would involve public sector employee compensation, sorry you missed it.

Greg, you probably need to brush up on the "not" approach to campaigns. I believe Reagan ran as not Jimmy Carter who ran as not a Washington insider. Nixon was not a crook. Romney is not Obama. Obama was not Bush. The not approach is not new.

Why do you have to run for a reason? Issac Weix has run in two recall elections as a place holder. In interviews, he said he was not a candidate.

I think you are not getting it. Yes, others have said that they are "not", but not as their primary platform. Obama had "not Bush" and "hope and change", a non-quantifiable slogan. I watched the video and based my comments on it.
Some say that Hoover had a slogan "a chicken in every pot and a car in every backyard", maybe Barrett could run on "a trolley on every block". Let's hear it Hudson, do you want to pay for trolleys? Or for operating costs of a train from Milwaukee to Madison? These examples could be used in Governor Walker's next speech, when he rants that he is "Not Barrett".

Greg, of course I don't want to pay for trolleys in Milwaukee. My guess is that people in Milwaukee don't want to pay for state parks by Hudson or outhouse on the St. Croix River. They also probably don't want to pay for a Stillwater bridge.

The political power is in the the SE corner of the state and that drives much of the tax dollar spending issues. It's long been a fact, for every dollar in state paid by people in the north half of the state, less than a dollar in services, etc. is returned. In the southern half, it's more than a dollar. That's how our system works.

The rail link between Milwaukee and Madison made sense to me. The hi-speed rail link between Madison and the Twin Cities din't make sense to me. Evidently, I look at the tax-and-spend picture differently than you. To be honest, I don't see large jumps in my annual tax bills. My property taxes have went up and down or the recent years.

I actually didn't state that Barrett was my choice. I provided my opinion of what his platform is. Whether I vote for him will be determined on June 5.

Keith, you say Walker has erased a $9.3 billion deficit. You should provide some proof of this. According to Walker, "We wiped out a $3.6 billion deficit without raising taxes."
