The Children’s Theatre of Wauwatosa Little Theatres will perform the classic fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel.

Performances, free and open to the public, will begin at 7:30 p.m. on March 14, 15, 20 and 21, in the auditorium at Longfellow Middle School, 7600 W. North Ave.

Four casts, each with sixteen students in grades three through seven, have been practicing since January. In addition to the evening performances, the Children's Theatre will present the play at all the Wauwatosa public and parochial elementary schools.

In addition to the Little Theatre Troupes, the organization sponsors a Teen Troupe, which performs throughout southeastern Wisconsin, as well as a drama class and summer theatre program. Children’s Theatre, which is under the sponsorship of the Wauwatosa School District’s Recreation Department, also presents a series of six live theatre performances at Wauwatosa East and West High Schools each year.
