12th Annual Celtic Christmas Boutique
More than 25 vendors from the Midwest region will display items ranging from traditional and contemporary jewelry, pottery, knitwear, artwork, quilts, books, CDs, Irish prints, photography, glassware, ornaments, baskets and more. A new artisan this year, Galway Bakers from Chicago, Ill. will be selling handmade bread, cakes and other specialty desserts. Back by popular demand, Sister Karlyn Cauley will return this year with her original folk art.
The event also includes a raffle with proceeds going toward Irish Fest youth programs. In addition, guests can tour the Ward Irish Music Archives, home to the largest collection of Irish and Irish American sheet music in the world with more than 5,000 sheets of music. When attendees work up an appetite, they can enjoy a break at Café Celtique, an on-site cafeteria serving scones, potato soup, and McBob’s famous corned-beef sandwiches.
Free admission, no strollers please.
More About Irish Fest Center
Born from the idea that there was need for a celebration of Irish Culture in Milwaukee, Ed Ward founded the Irish Fest. Initially, what began as small festival has now grown into a four-day event. With the increased demand for Irish programming and events the Irish Feast Center was created.
