Recycling Fundraiser - Tosa West Band
METAL FOR MUSIC!
Wauwatosa West Band is holding a metal recycling fundraiser on Saturday, August 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Clean out your basement, garage, sheds and backyard of old bikes, grills, lawn mowers, shovels, tools, pots and pans, crutches/walkers, stoves, water heaters, washers, dryers, soda cans, etc.
PLEASE bring your old metal junk to the school parking lot - where our community partners - Action Recyclers - will have a dumpster. Students and parent volunteers will help you unload.
We will also be offering a pick up service that morning for any large items you would like to donate. Please call 414-774-0664 (Seybolds) anytime during the week to arrange a pick up time.
Proceeds from this fundraising event will go toward much needed new equipment and to pay for supplemental music instructors.
*Note from the drum line: Much of the percussion equipment is over 10 years old and held together with super glue and duck tape! We would really appreciate your help!!
Thank you so much and hope to see you there!
More About Wauwatosa West High School
West High School celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2011, yet it is still considered the "new" high school in Wauwatosa, compared to old-line East High. West benefits, though, from its more modern surroundings, as it has its own planetarium and the unique Thomas Steiner Technology Center, named for a former principal and equipped with tools and resources for students to do advanced research.
