From 9:30 to 10 a.m. and again from 11 to 11:30 a.m., the Wauwatosa Public Library resents "Family Story Time" for all ages in the Children’s Story Room.
Come one, come all. It's free, and unlike some library programs you can join in with your kids in the magic of stories. No registration is required.
Wednesday is also the day the Wauwatosa Historical Society's Judith A. Simonsen Research Library is open to the public, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Society headquarters in the Kneeland-Walker House, 7406 Hillcrest Drive.
Browsing is free to members, $5 for non-members. Research performed at your request by a Historical Society volunteer is $20 an hour. Reproductions of historical photos can be purchased on request.
End your day with a visit to the Hartung Park Farmers Market, open 4 to 8 p.m. The park is off Menomonee River Parkway between Concordia and Keefe avenues.
The market managers suggest you check out the ”Gouda Girls” food truck for its menu that's as friendly to kids as to grownups.
