Caroline Krider Receives Prestigious Zoological Society Award

(Zoological Society of Milwaukee, March 2014) — Caroline Krider, of Wauwatosa, has received the Zoological Society of Milwaukee’s (ZSM’s) Pan paniscus Conservation Award (taken from the Latin name for bonobo). Krider, a senior vice president at U.S. Bank, received the award for her support of ZSM ape-conservation efforts. Krider, who chairs the ZSM’s conservation and research committee, has supported the ZSM for 13 years, in particular the ZSM’s Bonobo and Congo Biodiversity Initiative to survey and protect the bonobo. Krider is also vice chair of the ZSM’s Board of Directors. The award (a framed bonobo handprint) was presented March 13 at the Milwaukee County Zoo during the ZSM’s 2014 Serengeti Circle luncheon, which thanked ZSM grantors and sponsors who support the Society and the Zoo at the $2,500 and up giving level.
