‘Sustaining Profitable Growth’ Hot Topic for Women Business Owners Workshop August 21 in Milwaukee

Small business owners seeking ways to grow their business should attend, Attracting New Customers and Sustaining Profitable Growth,” a workshop presented by the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC). The event will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 9 to 11:30 a.m., at Manpower, 100 Manpower Place, in Milwaukee. 

Presenter Terri Shapiro, executive director of brand and media relations for Deluxe Corporation in Minnesota, will help small business owners discover the keys to successfully attract new customers. Topics include: assessing the unique opportunity for your business; how to profile your customer “target”; creating a clear statement of marketing objectives; choosing tactics that will work; the value of a marketing plan; effective implementation; and sustaining profitable growth.
