All children welcome to Operation Overboard VBS at WAUMC

Children ages 3 through fourth grade are invited to dive into fun at Operation Overboard Vacation Bible School at Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church, 1529 Wauwatosa Ave., Aug. 12 – 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. each day.

The cost is $10 per child with a family maximum of $20. Everyone is invited to join in the fun – families do not have to be members of WAUMC. Parking is available behind the church off of Underwood Avenue.

Participants will dive into the waters of God’s word and discover what it means to have a deep faith. As VBS participants journey down toward the ocean floor, they’ll explore Bible stories, games, music and crafts designed to help them develop a deep faith, depend on God, dare to care and change the world.

Make the fun last with an Operation Overboard CD ROM at a cost of $4.50. It includes 10 songs and five computer games to help children of all ages remember their VBS experience.

Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church dates back to 1848 and began with 42-members.
