Music, Remembrances Honor Vets in Tosa Events

Civic observance will be at Longfellow Middle School, featuring community band.

There's always plenty to do on Memorial Day, especially if the weather is fair for picnics, gardening, golf and the opening of swimming pool season.

But Memorial Day isn't just a day off. It was founded as a day of remembrance for those who did not come home from the Civil War and has since come to honor all who have died in service to the nation.

For those who wish to take a little time Maonday to pay their respects to the fallen, several events in Wauwatosa will afford you the chance.
