Although rain dampened things around noon, the Tosa Farmer's Market got off to a good start Saturday with a full slate of vendors selling not only fresh local produce but also lots of great ready-to-eat food and beverages and artisanal offerings. The market will be open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 15 at the Hart's Mill municipal parking lot, 7720 Harwood Ave.
