Tosa Native Appears on 'The Colbert Report' Tonight

Investigative reporter Jeremy Scahill talks about the documentary "Dirty Wars," based on his book on America's covert war on terrorism.

Wauwatosa native and investigative reporter Jeremy Scahill will appear on tonight’s “The Colbert Report,” to discuss his new documentary on America’s covert war on terrorism.

A 1992 Wauwatosa East High School graduate, Scahill will discuss the documentary “Dirty Wars” based on his book by the same name, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. 

The New York Times best-selling author and national security correspondent for The Nation magazine is also the author of "Blackwater: The World's Most Powerful Army," for which he won the George Polk Award.

"Dirty Wars" won the Cinematography Award for U.S. Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival 2013. IFC Films releases Dirty Wars in theaters June 7 throughout the United States.
