Rotary Easter Egg Hunt Could Be a Bundle-Up Affair

Spring is here but it hasn't really been in the still-chilly air. But even if we don't get a thaw soon, layer on the clothing and outerwear, tug on the boots and join the hunt at Wisconsin Ave. Park.

The Easter Bunny habitually wears a fur coat, and if you want to find the eggs he hides outside this year, you might want to, too.

If things don't warm up soon, bright-colored eggs should stand out pretty well on a field of white.

With an early Easter date this year, March 31, the 27th annual Wauwatosa Mayfair Rotary Club Easter Egg Hunt, the primary public egg-seeking event in the city, is set for the day before, Saturday, March 30 at Wisconsin Avenue Park.

The egg hunt starts promptly at 10:30 a.m. and is free and open to the public.

However, the Rotary would appreciate it very much if participating families would bring non-perishable food items for the Wauwatosa Food Pantry.

That will give you a warm feeling in your heart that hopefully will spread to your toes if it's still a bit cold.
