Art For Veterans

Rick Kelley, nationally recognized nature artist living in Florida will appear at Landmarks Gallery, 231 N. 76th St., Milwaukee, Friday, Sept. 14 and Saturday, Sept. 15, where he will provide a free commemorative print to current military personnel and to veterans, recognizing the nation’s debt to their service.

Reception hours are from noon to 4 p.m., Fri., Sept. 14 and Sat., Sept. 15. New paintings and prints by Kelley will be available.

Kelley’s love of nature and his passion for accuracy in imagery and history has propelled his works to critical acclaim.

Years spent in Montana as a young man provided dramatic vistas for his work. After studying at Eastern Montana University he set out on his own, pursuing images of ducks, loons, cardinals, eagles as well as zebras and elephants.

He has won awards and sponsor print assignments in 14 conservation groups, among them the North East Wildlife Fine Art and Nature Expo. He resides in Florida and has a contact address in Canada where he has been featured in exhibits.

Kelley and his wife own and operate Kelley Fine Art Publishing.
