J.S.Bach: A Tribute to the Victims of 9/11

Ensemble Musical Offering, Milwaukee's Midwest Bande for Early Music, presents a concert in memory of the victims of 9/11.  The concert, J.S.Bach:  A Tribute to the Victims of 9/11, features some of the most beautiful and heartfelt music written in the 18th century, but appropriate to today's audiences.  Featured on the program with the Ensemble is the Bach Collegium Choir in Bach's cantatas BWV 106, God's Time is the Best Time, and BWV 82 I Have Had Enough.  Program also features Bach Brandenburg Concerto No 6.  Accordion extraordinare Stas Venglevski, will perform transcriptions from Bach's most famous organ

works.  This is a no applause, no intermission event. Pre-concert lecture at 3 PM with noted German scholar Sylvester Krielein on The Thirty Years War and its Relevance to 9/11.
