The Kat Trio was formed in 1998 by three friends – Victoria Gorbich (violin), Vladislav Gorbich (clarinet) and Vasil Galiulin (piano) – after their graduation from the Ural State Music Conservatory. Julie Page replaces Galiulin on piano during the current U.S. tour. Today, the group is based in Madison, Wis.

Known for unique Russian arrangements of timeless melodies, Kat Trio performances feature classical works, well-known inspirational songs and American pop standards like Scott Joplin rags. Audiences describe the group’s sound as “Joyful!”
