The 4th Annual Wine & Vine Etc, Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 4-8pm is a celebration of the 100-year-old grape arbor built in 1912. Join two Bay View traditions, the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi and Groppi’s Food Market at the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi Convent Arbor, 3221 S. Lake Drive, St. Francis, Wisconsin. The Wine and Vine features superb wines, craft beers, teas and other local libations complemented by delicious food from local area restaurants and vendors; special entertainment by Frogwater and other performers. The arbor had fallen into years of progressive deterioration, until 2009, when Sister Stella DeVenuta became inspired to rejuvenate the grape vines and renew the three hundred and fifty foot stone arbor that supports them.
