Within Reach - Many hands

“Within Reach – Many Hands,” a new exhibit featuring work by Suzanne Garr, will be on display October 30 – November 26, 2011 in Mount Mary College’s Marian Art Gallery. An artist’s reception will take place Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Marian Gallery is located on the first floor of Caroline Hall at 2900 N. Menomonee River Parkway and is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Garr, a Wauwatosa resident, recently returned from Uganda where she spent two weeks volunteering and photographing an orphanage in Kajjansi, a township approximately 10 miles from Kampala, the country’s capital. Her mixed media exhibit includes photographs, a video, written stories and items from the children.
