Tornado Watch in Effect Until 1 a.m.

Our media partners at WISN 12 News are reporting that the National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch until 1 a.m. for much of Southeast Wisconsin including the Milwaukee metro area and Wauwatosa.

A Tornado Watch does not mean that tornadoes have been sighted or are imminent; rather, that conditions are such that tornadoes may form.

If tornadoes are sighted, a Tornado Warning will be issued. Be aware and take precautions that whether tornadoes form or not, severe weather may be expected, with the likelihood of strong winds and the possibility of power failures.
