169-Unit Apartment Complex Gets Preliminary Nod From Plan Commission

A 169-unit apartment complex proposed on a 9.4 acre site near the Grede Foundry received approval from the Plan Commission, according to the Journal Sentinel.

Wangard Partners Inc. would build six buildings at 1215 N. 62nd St, which had been the location of the Western Industries facility. Starting rents would be $900. The project would cost about $19 million to build.

The Common Council is expected to consider the project in September.
