Want to Work at Braun/Rodgers' Brookfield Restaurant? They're Hiring

Open job interviews will be held Thursday through Saturday at the former Charro restaurant — soon to be 8-twelve, the joint venture of MVPs Ryan Braun and Aaron Rodgers.

A possible perk of the job? Meeting Ryan Braun and Aaron Rodgers.

8-twelve, the restaurant venture of the two MVPs, is holding open job interviews this week to hire bartenders, servers, hosts, bussers, line cooks, dishwashers and prep cooks.

Interviews (bring resumes) will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the restaurant site, 17800 W. Bluemound Rd., Town of Brookfield, formerly .

The restaurant, slated to open in June, is the second Braun-SURG Restaurant Group partnership and the first for Rodgers. Braun partnered with SURG on Graffito on Water Street in Milwaukee.

8-twelve will feature American fare, including burgers, steak and other grilled food. JSOnline.com dining critic Carol Deptolla said entrees will include the "Braun Bucket" of fried chicken with smoked-tomato macaroni and cheese.

The Packers quarterback and Brewers left-fielder plan to make scheduled and unannounced visits on the Brookfield restaurant.

I wonder if Mike Tate from the Democratic Party of Wisconsin will push for these to be union jobs, since the owners are union. Here is a quote by him on opening day, " Or maybe it was because the players on the field are "union thugs" who have banded together to see that their rights are protected in their workplace."

Wonder if that sweaty bloated crazy eyes Graeme Zilenski would be hired here when his gig is over after Tuesday?

I hope Gramey Zee keeps his current job for a long, long time for he is the gift that keeps on giving.
