Allstate Bolsters Milwaukee-Area Recruiting Efforts

Allstate Insurance Company is launching a recruitment campaign to appoint 10 new agency owners in Milwaukee this year. The expansion effort is expected to create at least 40 jobs and 10 new small businesses in the metro Milwaukee area.

Allstate is actively searching for qualified mid-career, mid-level managers with a strong entrepreneurial drive who want to own and operate their own business. While individuals with all previous job experiences are welcome to apply, those with sales, customer-service and management experience often have the skills best suited for the agency owner opportunity.

“We are seeking professionals who are dedicated to customer service and want the support of the Allstate brand and team behind their new business venture,” said David Hewitt, Allstate Territory Sales Leader for Wisconsin. "Candidates don't need an insurance background. We'll provide them with comprehensive education and the resources to help them get off to a solid start."

Allstate agency owners are also actively searching for qualified candidates to fill more than 30 sales professional positions in agencies across the state in 2014. Each new agency owner is required to have at least two support staff personnel to help them run their small business. These licensed sales professionals help Allstate agencies grow and prosper, working side by side with agency owners to assist customers to help them meet their insurance and financial services needs.

"We are thrilled to be bringing these opportunities to the Milwaukee area as we look to help fuel the growth of the local economy and Allstate,” Deichl said. “We want to help and protect more families in Wisconsin by hanging more blue signs.”
