Wauwatosa, Wis. – An 18-year-old Wisconsin woman suffering from acute lymphoid leukemia will jet off to Hawaii in two weeks, thanks to the generosity of Foti Chiropractic, its patients and supporters.
Hanna, the young woman, and her family fly to Honolulu Dec. 17. Their itinerary includes snorkeling, horseback riding, an authentic Hawaiian luau, and an up-close swimming experience with dolphins. Most importantly, the “wish” experience – organized through Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin – will provide Hanna and her family a healthy dose of hope, strength and joy.
Their trip is made possible by Foti Chiropractic which, through its “Year of Wishes” campaign, raised $10,000 in less than 11 months.

“We are proud to have reached our fund-raising goal, but most of all overjoyed that this brave young woman will enjoy an experience she has long dreamed about,” said Dr. David J. Foti. “We humbly thank the many, many people whose generosity made this Make-A-Wish Wisconsin experience possible.”
Make-A-Wish Wisconsin grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. The program granted 325 wishes in 2012.

Foti Chiropractic, which has improved the health of Wauwatosa and nearby communities for 35 years, took up the Make-A-Wish challenge early in 2013. The clinic raised thousands of dollars through a special introductory consultation package, a Patient Appreciation Day, and participating in the Aug. 24 Walk & Run for Wishes.
