Open Letter to Wauwatosa Residents - Restore Integrity to Wisconsin -

Open Letter to Wauwatosa Residents - Grassroots Tosa

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Grassroots Tosa, along with countless Wisconsin residents, is alarmed and dissatisfied with the leadership of Governor Scott Walker.  Not only has he failed to create jobs and improve the economy, he has divided our communities, alienated hard-working citizens, and misled the people of Wisconsin.  Since his election, his record and actions clearly illustrate that he governs to protect the interests of his corporate friends, not those of us who work hard and take pride in our great state.

  1. FAILED ON JOB CREATION:  Walker promised to create 250,000 jobs, but under his leadership, Wisconsin has lost more jobs than any other state over the past year.  Our economy is lagging behind the entire country.  We need a leader who will look past ideology and party politics to get the job done.

  1. FAILED THE MIDDLE CLASS:  Instead of reducing the increasing tax burden on middle class and working families, Walker gave $2 billion in tax breaks to corporations -- and as job numbers confirm, none of it is “trickling down” to ordinary citizens.

  1. FAILED OUR SCHOOLS:  Walker cut $1.6 billion from our schools – the largest cut in the nation – jeopardizing our kids’ education, as well as the economic competitiveness of our state.

  1. FAILED OUR DEMOCRATIC TRADITIONS:  Walker has disregarded Wisconsin’s traditions of honest, open and accountable government, with his secret meetings, rushed votes and his outright cooperation with out-of-state corporate contributors.  Walker and his former county staff are the subject of a criminal investigation to determine their involvement in illegal campaign activities.

  1. FAILED ENVIRONMENTAL RECORD:  Walker has failed to implement sensible energy policies that would create clean energy jobs, reduce our dependence on foreign oil and protect our pristine natural resources, which provide the basis of our tourism industry.

  1. FAILED ON HEALTH CARE:  Walker has failed to rein in rising health care costs and stop insurance companies from discriminating against individuals with pre-existing conditions.  Instead, he has made it more difficult for seniors, working families and those with disabilities to access basic health care.

  1. FAILED ON WOMEN’S HEALTH:  Walker gutted critical health care services for women – including cancer screenings and HIV testing – inhibiting thousands of women from receiving basic preventive care services.

  1. FAILED ON WORKERS’ RIGHTS:  Walker explicitly misled Wisconsin citizens, never stating during his campaign that he would strip fifty-years of collective bargaining rights from over 175,000 teachers, nurses, police officers and other hard-working citizens.

We can’t afford the failed leadership of Governor Walker and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch.   We need new leaders who will reclaim Wisconsin, restore the integrity of our political system and get us working again! Vote for Tom Barrett and Mahlon Mitchell on Tuesday June 5th.

Stop lying Dale. Oh what do you know, you are a gubmint goon.

ad hominem: appealing to feelings or prejudices rather than intellect. 2. : marked by or being an attack on an opponent's character rather than by an answer to the contentions ...

Thank you Greg for pointing out Dale's flaws in attacking Mr. Walker.

I ate at a dinner once that had a Dul-Berger on the menu - it consisted of one plain patty of pink slime, no bun, lettuce, tomato, pickles or onions and the guy to your right had to pay for it!

Mr. Dulberger,
You are reciting standard talking points without an anaylsis or even citation from commonly accepted sources for each issue. It really does not do much to convince people about any issue. Mr. Walz-Chojnacki, I understand that you founded the group that Mr. Dulberger is part of, but you are now a city councilmember and I hope you engage in the issues before Tosa with a more rational, thoughtful and investigative eye than that demonstrated by Mr. Dulberger in his simple recitation of standard talking points.

Both of these tools, Dulberger and Walz work for the gubmint, all they want is more and more , neither knows how to earn an honest buck.

And in re to Mr. Walz-Chojnacki, the Wauwatosa City Council just last night unanimously approved over $15 million Wauwatosa tax dollars to bail out a cluster of homes prone to flooding on,near Meinecke Ave. Additionally, neighboring City communities are paying for the privilege of a nine foot or more sewer pile down their narrow streets with loss of most or all street trees, and repaving assessments. From the many to the fortunate and noisy few.

I dislike so much sarcasm in one post. Why not just come out and say something directly?

Steve, I have friends and co-workers whose political leanings vary from far right to far left andRead More everything in between. I certainly wouldn't make decisions "on their future" simply based on whether or not they signed a petition. I value the input I receive from my exposure to their varying viewpoints. It seems awfully petty and shortsighted to base so many decisions on one factor. When I hire an employee, political opinions are not important to me - credentials, experience, work ethic, that's what I look for; I am interested in hiring a competent person, not someone who simply shares my political leanings. You frequently tout yourself as a "producer" - of what, I don't know. Since you so strongly support the idea of making decisions on the litmus test of whether or not someone supports or opposes Governor Walker, I suggest that you let everyone know the name of your company and what you produce. That way, people who share your ideals can support your business and those that don't can make an educated decision as to whether or not they want to work with you.

One battle lost is not the end of the war. Walker has proven to be the biggest loser that this stateRead More has ever seen. We are almost last in every catagory and if your married with daughters all your thier rights have been taken away by your God. Remember when you and Walker take your place in hell the dead will some day walk the earth again.
