SCORE Business Plans Workshop set for Feb. 16.

SCORE Southeast Wisconsin Chapter will conduct a workshop "Using a Business Plan as a Management Tool" at the Innovation Center in Wauwatosa on Sat., Feb. 16.

SCORE Announces business plans workshop.

The SCORE Southeast Wisconsin Chapter will conduct a business workshop, titled “Using a Business Plan as a Management Tool” on Saturday, February 16, 2013.  According to Albert Lo, SCORE education team leader, the workshop will focus on converting the financial part of business plan into a monthly budget.  Simple Excel tools for generating performance reports and graphs will be discussed in detail.

The facilitator will be SCORE mentor Mike Sargent, CPA, a certified internal auditor.  Mr. Sargent is a former CFO, operations executive and college level business instructor.

The workshop will be held at the Milwaukee County Research Park, 10437 Innovation Drive, Wauwatosa, in Room 121, 9 AM - 12 Noon.  The fee is $35 per person, and $20 for each additional person from the same firm.  Advance reservations are required for admission, and are available by telephone at SCORE Southeast Wisconsin, 414-297-3942, or by visiting its website, www.scoresewisconsin.org to register or to obtain additional information about the workshop.

It serves the ten county area of southeast Wisconsin – Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha. The chapter is headquartered at 310 West Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Milwaukee.

Founded in 1964, SCORE is headquartered in Herndon, VA and Washington, DC, and has 370 chapters throughout the United States and its territories, with 14,000 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business mentors.
