Last Chance: Get Caught Up on Energy Bills Before You Get Disconnected

As moratorium on winter heat shutdowns comes to an end, WE Energies is launching a "Stay Connected" campaign for those in severe arrears, who need to set up a payment plan to avoid disconnection as soon as Monday.

If you are not paid up on your We Energies bills, you could face disconnection as soon as Monday.

Sunday is the official end of the winter moratorium on heating shutoffs.

WE Energies has launched a "Stay Connected" campaign, with phone calls, bill inserts and other messaging alerts to inform customers who are in severe arrears to get caught up on their bills before disconnections begin, according to a press release.

“If customers are struggling to pay their energy bills, they should not hesitate to
call us,” said Joan Shafer, senior vice president of customer services said in the release. “Our goal is to work with customers so they can maintain their service
year-round.”

The "Stay Connected" campaign offers minimum and flexible payment plans.
