A Wauwatosa artist is looking into the beauty of the Sandy Hook Elementary victims and transforming their pictures into painted portraits.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Jim Stingl wrote a story about the Joanne Bowring's efforts to look at this tragedy in a different light by attempting to ease the pain of their families.
She plans to paint all 20 portraits and hopes to send them to the families.
