Children's Miracle Network Hospital community campaign

Walmart and Sam’s Club locations raise vital funds for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin

Donations collected May 1 – June 11 through the CMN Hospitals Campaign stay in the community to help local kids

From May 1 through June 11, Walmart customers and Sam’s Club members can help “Every child live better” by making a donation of $1 or more at the retailers’ nearly 80 locations raising funds for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Customers and members can quickly add a “Miracle Balloon” donation during checkout this spring, with 100 percent of funds flowing directly to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Donations provided each year — with most given $1 at a time — have added up to a serious beneficial impact on children’s health. In 2013, the six-week Walmart and Sam’s Club fundraising campaign raised $54 million for local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide.

“Funds raised through the Children’s Miracle Network support the programs, services and amenities that make a kid’s stay at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin all the more comfortable for the child, their parents, and even siblings,” said Jeff Stewart, chief operating officer of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Foundation.

Children’s achieves its mission in part through donations from individuals, corporations and foundations and is proud to be a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. For more information, visit chw.org.
