Concord Chamber Orchestra – CLUBS Concert

Focusing on music that
deals with human conflict, the concert will feature the world-class soprano
Suzanne Kompass performing the world premiere of Australian composer Sean
O’Boyle’s Conflict, Sadness, Victory, and

Resolution
, a new composition jointly commissioned by the CCO and the

Australian Broadcasting Corporation.  She
will also be performing Israeli composer Rami Bar-Niv’s song cycle based on the
Holocaust poetry of Jacob Barzilai, Longing
for My Father
.  Both Mr. Bar-Niv and
Mr. O’Boyle will be attending the concert, and will speak to the audience and
take questions during the intermission.
