Expanding the Region’s Approach to Stormwater Management


 Join us to hear Karen Sands, Manager of Sustainability for the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, will present an educational program on the newly adopted MMSD Regional Green Infrastructure Plan.  Come learn both why the district set a goal of capturing the first 0.5 inch of rainfall on impervious surfaces and how they will meet this goal, the equivalent of 740 million gallons of stormwater storage by 2035.
