St. Patrick’s Day/“green” potluck
at 6:15 pm; program at 7pm
Join
actor and theatre educator, Marcella
Kearns, and volunteer readers as we
celebrate dynamic stories of human intersections with the wilderness. We’ll hear the timeless voices of
environmental writers from Muir to Whitman to Carson; we’ll premiere parallel
stories from our own fellow Club members—voices that share discovery, delight,
and calls to action. Learn
techniques for sculpting one’s own inspiration and objectives about the natural
world in writing for an intended audience by drawing on processes of
playwriting and improvisation.

Join us before the talk at 6:15pm for
our Irish pot luck. Please bring a dish to share, like toppings for baked
potatoes. Potatoes will be
provided. Reservations aren’t required,
but contacting Rosemary Wehnes at: rlwehnes@ameritech.net or 414-828-1357 four days prior helps us plan
the food.
