Kohl's Art Generation Family Sundays: Art of the Now

The Milwaukee Art Museum and Kohl’s Art Generation invite
families to explore first-hand the amazing world of contemporary art!

On Sunday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Milwaukee
Art Museum and Kohl’s Art Generation welcome the public to participate in
Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays: Art of the Now. Children and families are
encouraged to experience contemporary art and dance through hands-on activities
inspired by the Museum’s 30 Americans exhibit. The exhibit, featuring a wide
range of photographs, paintings and sculptures by contemporary African American
artists, is open for families to explore. Families can also create their own
mixed-media piece of art and enjoy contemporary dance performances by Hoopvive,
Freestyle Dance Studio, and Ton Ko-thi Youth Ensemble.

While at the Museum, kids and families can stop into the
Kohl’s Education Center—a fun, interactive space designed to give kids an
appreciation for art through participation in exciting, creative hands-on
projects. Part of the Kohl's Art Generation program, this space is made
possible through $4.3 million from Kohl's Cares to the Milwaukee Art Museum.

Kohl’s Art Generation Family Sundays events are free with
