"Marvin's Room" by Village Playhouse Staged in Inspiration Studios

The Village Playhouse will stage the play Marvin's Room at its new home, Inspiration Studios, on 73rd and Orchard streets, West Allis. It opens Friday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. and will continue for six more productions over three weekends, closing with a Sunday matinee on Sunday, April 6. (Dates are 3/21, 3/22, 3/28, 3/29, 4/4, 4/5 -- all at 7:30.)

Tickets are available by phone (414-207-4879) or email (MarvinsRoom@villageplayhouse.org) and at the door. Admission is $15 for adults and $13 for students/seniors age 55 and older.

Marilou Davido as the main
character, Bessie, who cares for her father, Marvin, played by Brad Highdudis, and her aunt, enacted by Carol Gegner. Action intensifies when dysfunctional family dynamics come into play: Bessie's wayward sister, Lee, is played by Julia Snider; Lee's troubled son Hank is played by Daniel Slattery; her other son, Charlie, is played by Shawn Helton.  Michael Davis is cast as the eccentric Dr. Wally, and Diana Randelzhofer as Dr. Charlotte.
