County Grounds Monarch Trail Restoration Planting Party!

Friends of the Monarch Trail invite volunteers of ALL ages to help plant 2,000 milkweeds, native wildflowers including beebalm, prairie cone flower, lupine, joe pye, cinquefoil, liatris, goldenrod and more.

The Monarch butterflies need our help.  Their population has declined by nearly 80% in the past 20 years. New habitat to offset lost acreage is the hope they need.

Bring garden gloves, sun hat, sun screen, shovel, trowel & energy! Some supplies on hand. Help for half an hour, help all three hours--each plant WILL make a difference! Meet at the new Monarch Trail Kiosk on the corner of Discovery Parkway & Eschweiler Dr. Parking along Discovery Parkway, Eschweiler Dr. and the ABB building lot. Look for us at the colorful flags!
