Mount Mary University Opens Art Exhibit Featuring Work by Pat Hidson

Mount Mary University will present work by artist Pat Hidson, September 9 - October 4, 2013 in the Marian Art Gallery. An opening reception will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, September 13. The event is free and open to the public.
Hidson paints with acrylics on linen and uses rich color combinations for a textured effect. She explores the use of shape adapted from architecture, botany, art history, and archeology, combined with a love of animals. Hidson, who has exhibited her work for many years throughout Wisconsin, lives and teaches in Milwaukee. For more information on the artist, visit www.pathidson.com.
Marian Gallery is located on the first floor of Caroline Hall at 2900 N. Menomonee River Parkway and is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
