Run with Wolfes

Run with Wolfes will be hosting its 5th Annual 8K run &
5K run/walk at Menomonee Park on Sunday, Sept 28.  Proceeds benefit brain cancer research at the
UW Carbone Cancer Center.

Run With Wolfes and its sister event Golf Fore Wolfe were started to honor the memory of Eric Wolfe, who lost his battle with brain cancer.  Back in 1999 Eric's parents Jerry & Nancy Wolfe formed Golf Fore Wolfe, a golf outing, to raise money for brain cancer research.  Five years ago Eric's sister Cara Olson (Wolfe) and her husband Rob formed Run With Wolfes, a 5k fun run.   With the love and support of their friends and family these events have been a great success, bringing in nearly $800,000 to date.  These are fully non-profit events, all proceeded go to research at the UW Carbone Cancer Center in Madison.  All time is volunteer and all of our materials come from generous donations of the surrounding communities.  It is truly an event from one family, our family, for ALL families.  Our goals are simple, find a cure and to try and give those patients and families that are struggling with this disease more time.

Come experience Wisconsin in one of its fine park.  The course travels through the park along gently rolling hills and well groomed trails.  Mother nature will be your guide and along the way perhaps you'll see some deer or a red fox squirrel. Enjoy the weather as summer slips into fall and the leaves begin to change.
