Match Day

On March 8, the greater Milwaukee area has a chance to come together to support local organizations that provide food and shelter for members of our community who are struggling to meet the daily needs of their families.

Match Day is a special, one-day online event coordinated by the Greater Milwaukee Foundation that aims to raise much-needed resources for 19 area nonprofits that serve as a lifeline in our community.  This event is unique, as the Foundation will match funds raised on this day, essentially doubling dollars raised from the public.

The Greater Milwaukee Foundation will make a total of $675,000 available to match contributions made on Match Day and grow the impact of a donor’s gift. All gifts will be matched proportionately, based on the total amount raised during Match Day by each organization.
