Sierra Club Great Waters Group - Our Energy Future

The local Great Waters Group of Sierra Club presents a monthly program.  On October 17, we explore the different energy sources.  We need our natural resources, but do you know the best sources for our needs?  How long they will last?  How sustainable they are?   What are the best sources for the long term?  What effect is current legislation having on WI’s renewable energy potential?   Michael Vickerman is the Executive Director of RENEW Wisconsin, a sustainable energy advocacy organization headquartered in Madison.  He will get us up-to-date on renewable energy sources.  Learn what is happening with renewables and what we as citizens can do for our energy future.
