Another Woman Is Victim of Purse-Snatching

Victim is pushed into her car and has her purse stolen off her arm by two men who appeared out of the dark.

Two men pushed a Wauwatosa woman into her driver's seat as she was unloading groceries and grabbed her purse away, police reports say.

At 9:54 p.m., the woman called police to say she had just been robbed outside her home in the 1200 block of 68th Street.

She told officers she had just come from the store and was taking her groceries out of the car when two men appeared, walking toward her. One of them asked if she needed help with her groceries, she said, and she didn't speak to them but made what she called a sound that implied she didn't want any assistance.

One of the men then gave her a shove under her right eye, causing her to fall into the driver's seat of her car. The other man grabbed her purse, and both ran off to a car and drove off.

The woman had a bruise under her eye and was examined by Fire Department paramedics but did not want medical attention.

She could not give more than the most minimal descriptions of either the men or their car,
