Connors initially denied knowing anything about the burglary, saying he had never been to the course before, but then he changed his story. He next told police he and a juvenile girl were nearby when they heard someone breaking into the clubhouse, so they went inside and decided to look around – but didn’t take anything.

Then he again changed his story and admitted to police that they took the beer.

Double bogey. Conners will make his initial appearance in court Tuesday.
