UPDATED: Highway 100 Northbound Reopened at 4 P.M.

A damaged gas line has caused the problem, and officials say there could be a longer closure of Research Park Drive off Mayfair.

Updated: 4:15 p.m.:

A gas leak that has closed northbound Highway 100 at Bluemound Road most of the afternoon was contained and the lanes reopened at 4 p.m.

An earlier traffic alert from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation reported that northbound lanes of Mayfair Road (Highway 100) were closed at Blue Mound Road because of a utility emergency.
